DRJ Fall World 2014: Insider Perspective

3 Minute Read

This week, September 7-10, 2014, hundreds of business resilience professionals have converged upon San Diego’s Bayfront Hilton to take part in Disaster Recovery Journal’s 51st annual conference, DRJ Fall World 2014.

So too have 45 engaging speakers representing organizations from around the world, along with 85+ vendors demonstrating their wares.

Among them is Send Word Now, leading provider of emergency notification and Gold Sponsor of the always-popular business continuity/disaster recovery (BC/DR) event.

Here, Send Word Now, booth #301, is showcasing its award-winning Alerting Service and latest critical communications innovation, SWN Direct, a recipient mobile app for improved employee and stakeholder engagement, featuring:
– SWN Express Messenger, a flexible, cost-effective alternative to SMS
– SWN Express Voice, providing fully integrated IP voice capabilities
– SWN LockBox, for secure file transfer and storage
– SWN One-Click Connect, giving users immediate access to Send Word Now support, inbound message boards (for status updates), or IVR

On Monday, September 8, Send Word Now sponsored a morning general session with renowned speaker, Robert Chandler, Ph.D., as well as Hospitality Night (themed “Boardwalk Carnival”) so that conference attendees had a chance to network with peers and unwind from the day’s activities.

DRJ’s Fall World conference comes during National Preparedness Month, designated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security since 2004, and the anniversary of the 9/11 tragedies.

Thankfully, events like DRJ Fall World give participants the opportunity to exchange ideas and see the latest in BC/DR technologies. At Send Word Now, we are pleased to be involved in the conference, and to assist clients and potential clients in any way possible.

Come by and visit with the Send Word Now team in booth #301 today. Exhibit hours are from 11 AM – 3 PM PDT. _
