Send Word Now Celebrates Success in Preparedness Through Partnership with NJEdge.net

Almost a year ago, Send Word Now announced that it was awarded a contract for emergency notification services by NJEDge.Net, a non-profit technology consortium of academic and research institutions in New Jersey that introduces emerging technologies and state-of-the-art networking to its partners in academia, government and industry for inter-institutional collaboration, scholarship and research. Today, we’d like to celebrate the success of that initiative.

Through the partnership, many institutions within the consortium have been able to access competitive pricing for Send Word Now’s on-demand notification and response services. Members can contract for these services within the NJEDge.Net buying schedule.

“We are very pleased with our selection of Send Word Now, and we look forward to a long-lasting relationship with the organization,” said George Laskaris, President and CEO of NJEDge.Net in March of 2011. “This new agreement reflects our efforts to achieve economies of scale and help our members achieve their missions more cost-effectively.”

Almost a year later, we are proud to be able to continue to provide our services to academic and research institutions throughout New Jersey, and we look forward to working with additional schools that wish to transition to the Send Word Now alerting system.
