New CTO Joins Leading Critical Communications Firm

Ormond Beach, FL – [December, 2015] – Emergency Communications Network (ECN), North America’s largest provider of SaaS-based critical and mass notification systems, announced the addition of Michael Ely to the executive team as its Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to lead all technology initiatives. Ely brings more than 30 years of engineering, software development, systems architecture, and overall IT Strategy and planning experience in the technology sector.

Mr. Ely previously served as Vice President of Technology at Aspect Software. He held additional roles within the organization including director, serving as the technical lead of its unified communications initiatives, coordinating the company’s top architects responsible for developing and researching new technologies, executing corporate product strategies and leading the architecture roadmaps across multiple products.

Ely will lead the Development, Engineering, and Information Technology teams to drive greater efficiencies and leading-edge solutions for the company’s clients, keeping ECN at the forefront of new and improved ways to deliver critical communications throughout government and businesses. When seconds count, there is a difference and ECN makes a difference.
