San Diego’s MIR3 Named to Esteemed Inc. 500 List
SAN DIEGO (August 27, 2008) – MIR3, Inc., the leading provider of Intelligent Notification (IN®) systems to enterprises, universities and government organizations, was named to the Inc. 500 list, an annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States by Inc. magazine. The list, now in its 27th year, is the most comprehensive look at America’s independent-minded entrepreneurs. MIR3 joins the ranks of companies such as Zappos, Intuit, GoDaddy, Under Armour, Jamba Juice and American Apparel, which along with other powerhouse organizations, gained early exposure as members of the Inc. 500.
“If you want to find out which companies are going to change the world, look at the Inc. 500,” said Inc. Editor Jane Berentson. “These are the most innovative, dynamic, fastestgrowing companies in the nation—the ones coming up with solutions to some of our knottiest problems, creating systems that let us conduct business faster and easier, and manufacturing products we soon discover we can’t live without. The Inc. 500 list is Inc. magazine’s tribute to American business ingenuity and ambition.”
The 2008 Inc. 500/5000 list measures companies’ revenue growth from 2004 through 2007. Honored in the telecommunications industry as part of this year’s list, MIR3 experienced an impressive 625.8 percent growth during that time span. MIR3 currently counts more than 80 percent of FORTUNE 100 companies as clients, alongside more than 200 prestigious universities across the United States. The company provides leading-edge IN systems that allow for immediate, two-way communication during mission critical events such as IT emergencies and man-made or natural disasters. MIR3’s newest clients include Kaiser Permanente, Air Liquide, The New York City Fire Department (FDNY) and The University of Pennsylvania.
“MIR3’s unique offering of IN as a service to enterprises, government organizations and universities provides technology that allows messages to be sent, received and responded to via any communication device,” said Amir Moussavian, chief executive officer of MIR3. “Our growth has been noteworthy in recent years because of the flexibility mass notification systems allow an organization—from human resources and information technology, to business continuity and disaster recovery. We’re honored that Inc. has selected us as a member of its esteemed Inc. 500 list.”
MIR3 will be featured in the September issue of Inc. magazine. The Inc. 500 list represents the top 10 percent of the Inc. 5000 list.
