Police issue CodeRED shelter in place for NH residents after man locks himself in bedroom

A domestic disturbance call led police to the Flint Pond Drive neighborhood of Hollis, NH. When they arrived, the suspect, John Cook, had locked himself in a bedroom and refused to come out or follow police instructions. Because of the nature of this call, police called in the Nashua Special Reaction team for assistance. In addition, to protect residents in the neighborhood, a CodeRED alert was also issued calling for a shelter in place to all residents in the area. A few hours later, the suspect exited the bedroom and the incident was resolved without any injuries.
