ORMOND BEACH, FL, March 6, 2019 – OnSolve, a global leader in critical communication solutions for enterprise, SMB, and government customers is proud to announce that its President Ann Pickren has received the Lifetime Achievement Award at DRI International’s 2019 Awards of Excellence. Awards were presented at the DRI Conference on February 19th, 2019 at Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.
Each year, DRI International’s Awards of Excellence honors the leaders and innovators in the fields of continuity management, technology recovery, and crisis and risk management. The Lifetime Achievement Award, which was voted on online by DRI Certified Professionals, honors the most experienced professional in the industry for his or her work over the course of their careers. The winner of this award every year is well-regarded in the industry and has a track record of professional success and respect from peers in the field.
Pickren was recognized for her contributions to the business continuity (BC) industry over the past two decades. Over the course of her career, Pickren has hired and trained hundreds of individuals who have gone on to become business continuity professionals and helped impact the methodology and concepts for many customers as far as how they institute and manage their business continuity programs. Pickren brought to market the first program management software tool in the industry that embedded Emergency Mass Notification System (EMNS) capabilities into business continuity planning tools.
“To be recognized by the world’s leading business continuity and disaster recovery training organization is a tremendous honor,” said Pickren. “The industry has grown and matured considerably during my time in the business, and as technologies and methods continue to advance, I look forward to continuing to play a leadership role here at OnSolve in helping our customers protect people and property.”
