My dispatch center called me because they had a 9-year-old boy who was missing for about an hour and a half. They didn’t know if he had his winter jacket on or not and we’re in Maine so it started to get dark and cold. We launched a CodeRED message that provided a description of the boy. A resident, who received the call looked out his window and actually saw the boy walking. The resident called out the boy’s name, brought him into the house and got him reunited with his family. This all happened within 5 minutes of putting out the CodeRED message. It really doesn’t get better than that! The system worked even better than it was supposed to.
