ECN’s Director of Government Relations earns recognition from the International Association of Emergency Managers

don-hEmergency management is a profession that takes outstanding people to support it. Having the most qualified and experienced emergency managers available is important to keeping communities safe, which is why Emergency Communications Network (ECN), North America’s largest provider of emergency notification systems, is proud to have Don Hall on its team.

Don Hall, ECN’s Director of Government Relations, recently earned recognition from the International Association of Emergency Managers for being among a group of professionals who have maintained their Certified Emergency Manager (CEM®) designation. This is the highest honor of professional achievement available from the Association, which has more than 9,000 emergency managers as members.

IAEM created the CEM® designation as a way to define professional benchmarks and provide practitioners with a certification program to document their qualifications. The CEM® designation presently is held by 1,467 men and women in the emergency management profession. As a CEM®, Hall demonstrated a high level of competence and ethical fitness for emergency management.

Hall is an emergency notification expert at ECN. He has spent more than 40 years in public safety and consistently shows a commitment towards saving lives and protecting communities during emergencies and disasters. His emergency management experience makes him ideal for helping our current clients, potential customers and the emergency management community to interact with regarding the need and use of mass notification systems for state and local governments.
