With Text to Enroll, residents can simply text a keyword from their smartphone and receive a response back with a direct link to the Community Notification Enrollment (CNE) page for that area.

How Text to Enroll Works:

• A person can text a keyword – like a city or county name – to 99411.
• A response will be sent back containing the Community Notification Enrollment (CNE) link.
• After clicking the link, they will be taken to a mobile-friendly CodeRED registration page for that area.

For example, the city of Metropolis selects the word “Metropolis” to use as the keyword for their area. Residents and visitors are able to text “metropolis” to 99411 to receive a direct link to Metropolis’s CodeRED registration page.
