In this session we will discuss how to set up and implement an IPAWS alert using both EAS (Emergency Alerting System) and WEA (Wireless Emergency Alert) to notify citizens in regards to an imminent threat. IPAWS takes your notification above and beyond your CodeRED opt-in database and allows you to reach out to your broadcast stations and wireless devices including those who did not opt in to your Emergency Notification System.
